GJ Gillespie received the Tuttle Award for his mid century style piece "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying."
NWCS officer John Arbuckle presented Gillespie the award that came with a $75 check during the Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 5, 2018, 7:00 at the Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo.
37 artists and 55 pieces were accepted into the show out of 94 entries.

Gillespie originally submitted three collages to the show. After the judge selected all three pieces one at the Ryan James Gallery in Kirkland sold.
The artist had intended to change the art at the gallery, then was informed that one titled "She's Not There" had sold to a fan.
